Harshitha Gowda is one of the finest classical dancers found amidst us in the present times. She hails from the 'Sugar City' Mandya (Karnataka) and now settled in Bangalore.

Trained under her Guru Smt. Manjula Paramesh, Harshitha has earned accolades for her Bharathanatyam (Indian Classical Dance) performances across the country, the latest being the prestigious 27th Surajkund Arts & Crafts Mela-2013 at Faridabad, Haryana.

Harshitha Gowda took up dancing at a very early age. After completing her graduation in Commerce, she chose to perceive dancing as her profession instead of her MBA studies further!! She has been the epitome of Laya, Thaala & Bhaava. But she shies away admitting this. She completed her 'Pre-Vidwath' course in Bharathanaatyam in October 2015 and is preparing hard for her 'Vidwath-Final' Exams.

As the saying goes, "the art is in the beholder's eyes", whoever has seen her performing on stage with all the grace and finesse,surely admit that she is a Dancing Diva in making.

Harshitha Gowda is an Actress too. She started acting for camera at an early stage in her life. Her first appearance on TV was in 1997 as a child artiste. After her stint in few television fictions, she made her debut in a movie 'Moggina Jade' which won a state Award in the year 2008. Later, she shot to fame with a TV Serial 'Arasi' on ZEE TV Kannada Channel during 2011-12. She instantly became a heartthrob of millions of Kannadigas through her lead role 'Sooji'.

Harshitha's dedication in acting, took her to the next level and got her an opportunity to act as 'Heroine' in a movie (made for ZEE TV Premiere) DILKHUSH, directed by Mr.Jayanth. After her remarkable performance in Dil Khush, now, she is getting offers from Kannada Film Industry and is busy choosing the right script for her debut in the mainstream films. We look forward to see her in movies as a bubbly, naughty and matured actress in future. All the Best to her.
